Department of Engineering Science and Humanities

The First-Year Engineering (FE), a course where all newly aspiring engineering students are admitted to the First-year of Bachelor of Engineering course of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) in our college begin their careers.

As per the revised choice-based credit system of the SPPU, Pune to which our Gokhale Education Society’s R. H. Sapat College of Engineering, Management Studies & Research is affiliated the Engineering graduation begins with a revised FE (2024) course, with effect from 2024-25.

The FE (2024) course of SPPU is a NEP 2020 compliant Engineering course comprises various subjects and concepts with incorporation of latest topics and know-how as a prerequisite of developing the student for all the branch of Engineering.

The basic purpose of the subjects under the Engineering Sciences Department comprising, Engg. Mathematics, Engg. Physics and Engg. Chemistry is to develop a temper of Engineering Sciences and to orient the learner toward a better understanding of technical and engineering systems.
